Renata Helfman has worked as a celebrity makeup artist for over 15 years. During this time she also founded Vert, the first eco-chic beauty boutique in the nation and has written extensively for the Huffington Post. She has received international editorial recognition from every sector of the beauty industry and has been featured in Elle, The Los Angeles Times, Natural Health, Vogue, and numerous other publications and media outlets. In 2012, Renata founded Lipstick Angels and made it her mission to bring beauty and compassion to people in need. Through national television and print outlets, Renata continues to be a vocal advocate for her program and for organic products.



National Program Director

Amy Holiber has worked as a professional makeup artist for the film and television industry for over 25 years. She has created looks for countless advertising campaigns as well as lending her skills to multiple television shows and editorial work. Currently serving as Lipstick Angels West Coast Program Manager, Amy oversees Angel recruiting, training and administration. She also coordinates and organizes all special events for Lipstick Angels, as well as contributing copy for social media and helping to refine and organize the makeup and skincare kits for patients. She is deeply committed to the mission of Lipstick Angels, combining her work as a makeup artist with her passion for spreading joy and love through beauty. Amy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from California State University, Northridge. She lives in Santa Monica, California with her husband and two sons.




Educational Director, San Francisco Bay Area

Kerri Stimson's passion for makeup grew from an early recognition of its potential as a powerful tool of expression and empowerment. She has worked as a professional makeup artist for over a decade in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. During this time, she has developed operational and leadership skills in a variety of roles in the health, beauty, and wellness industries. As the general manager for one of San Francisco's premier yoga schools, she deepened her personal and professional commitment to holistic wellness and wellbeing. Kerri studied makeup artistry in New York, completing the Make-up Designory (MUD) program. She holds a B.A. in Liberal Studies from SUNY Purchase with emphasis on Literature, Linguistics, and Philosophy.




East Coast Program Manager, Lead Oncology Esthetician

Emily Stollman is an Esthetician and certified Holistic Health Coach. Her interests in skincare and wellness were sparked when she first began searching for ways to eradicate the acne she had suffered from for most of her adolescence and young adulthood. The profound healing that Emily experienced through the use of natural skincare and better self-care rituals inspired her to pursue a career in which she could support and empower others on their own personal journeys to healthier, more vibrant skin and general wellbeing. Emily studied esthetics at Parisian Beauty Academy in Hackensack, New Jersey, and holds a B.A. in Studio Art from the University of Vermont.




Program Manager, San Francisco Bay Area

Abigail Rooney is a professional makeup artist and holistic esthetician. She strongly believes beauty is a birthright, education is power, and makeup and skincare are a physical, emotional, and spiritual journey. Having watched her own mother struggle with and overcome illness, it sparked in her a commitment to taking care of herself holistically. Through her own wellness journey, she has learned that radical self-acceptance is a critical aspect of feeling well. As a foundational component of her practice, this belief influences her whole-person approach to skincare and beauty. After years of working in the green beauty industry, Abigail is thrilled to share her knowledge of the transformative power of clean beauty and skincare with Lipstick Angels patients as our Bay Area Program Manager. Abigail is a self-taught makeup artist and studied esthetics at the Aveda Institute in San Francisco.  She is currently pursuing her master’s in psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies.




Program Manager​, Seattle

Denise Doherty is an East Coast transplant and has called Seattle home for over twenty years. She had an interest in skincare from a young age, doing homemade facials and investigating current trends. After cycling tours around Australia and New Zealand, Denise noticed the change in her skin from the sun and climate. Upon returning to the States, she decided to attend the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute and make skincare and wellness her full-time profession. Denise has worked in day spas & medical spas and has marketed various prestigious skincare lines. Throughout her experience, she has enjoyed seeing her clients' skin transform. She loves to share her knowledge and to bring a bit of wellness to everyone, which is what makes Lipstick Angels the perfect fit. Denise is a licensed master esthetician and holds a B.A in Communications. She lives in the Seattle area, where she enjoys the outdoors with her husband and two dogs.



Program Specialist, San Francisco Bay Area

Jennifer Rose is a former social worker responsible for connecting with people to assist and inspire making positive changes in their lives. It's always been her philosophy that she should leave people feeling better than they did when she met them. In 2006, Jennifer became a licensed esthetician. Makeup and skincare are powerful tools that increase self-esteem and well being. She knows how holistic and healing it is to feel good inside and out. Jennifer holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Arizona State University. She also has worked in human resources, recruiting and administration.



Program Specialist, San Francisco Bay Area

Natasha Soriano's background started out in the dermatology world at Kaiser Permanente. With her hospital experience, Natasha decided to go back to school to learn the intricate workings of the body and skin. Natasha is both a licensed medical esthetician as well as a certified massage therapist. She went to school at both Cinta Aveda Institute and the National Holistic Institute. She is also proficient in permanent makeup with a concentration on areola restoration and scalp repigmentation. Her choice to work in these areas was to help those going through cancer and autoimmune disease. She also manages a salon in the San Francisco area that provides a variety of beauty treatments. She currently hopes to attend nursing school so that she can broaden her scope of practice and help more people with their skin care journey. 



Program Specialist, Los Angeles

Michelle De Luca is a Licensed Esthetician and has been Volunteering for Lipstick Angels since 2016. She is passionate about giving back to the industry and making a positive impact through her craft. Being a Lipstick Angel has drastically changed her perspective on life and has given her a humanitarian spirit. She incorporates a holistic approach in her treatment room. Michelle studied Esthetics at Paul Mitchell in Los Angeles, California, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management. She has been featured in Allure and Marie Claire Magazine.



Social Media Manager

Bernadette Silva has a Bachelor of Individualized Studies with specializations in English, History, Digital Filmmaking and Animation/Visual Effects from New Mexico State University. She has also studied at Maynooth University in Ireland and the University of Kent in England and served as a Congressional Page at the U.S. House of Representatives with the 111th Congress. She started working with Renata and Amy in 2011 as a technical assistant for Renata's beauty blog and then joined Lipstick Angels when it was created in 2012.




Operations Coordinator

Mindy graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a major in Political Science, Public Policy and minor in Critical Gender Studies. She has spent the last three years interning and volunteering in the nonprofit field, guided by her personal motivations of advocating for gender equality. She strongly believes in the power of makeup and beauty to empower women and all genders. Mindy experienced this firsthand in recently overcoming illness and learning to use beauty and makeup to activate a sense of self-love, acceptance, and compassion within. She is excited to contribute to the empowerment and healing that Lipstick Angels continually activates so powerfully in others as well!
